Known good H22a engine, JDM 197bhp

Post by NafemanNathan » Fri Mar 14, 2014 6:00 pm

After this morning's incident I'm just considering all angles and the possibility of dropping a replacement engine in my silver 4th gen.

It must be an H22a (So JDM with 197bhp as standard) and a great runner, ideally with history. I won't need any of the ancillaries, but will obviously take them if I have to.

So what have people got? :)

Probably ASAP, but I think I'd rather have a complete engine bud :)

Part reason for wanting to know the history is so I can known when the belt was done last and so that I can know it doesn't need replacing. I replaced the belt in the silver lude 6 months before the oil pump failed on that and I had the belt in the 3rd gen replaced not long after I had it, so within a year ago, so it'd be nice not to have to fork out to get another one replaced again.

@Cebul, how much are you after bud? Is there a link to a thread for it?

I saw his on ebay actually. Didn't realise it was his at the time, but there was no mention of mileage or history or anything, so I hadn't considered it.

@Keva8, if you know any of that, let me know bud :) Also, what engine number is it?
