Well I tried to start the car this morning and it kept dying. Tried again 10mins later and it started fine and ran good.
Started it later in the day and ran perfect.
Started it in the evening and nothing again. I'm sure there must be something blocking or the pump not picking up.
Its completely random.

If it runs, then surely the components are 'ok'?, I'm thinking loose connection or bad earth too now
If the engine turns but it wont fire, you'd think it would have to be fuel pump, dizzy, ignitor, coil, dizzy cap, rotor arm, or relay related?
Sorry, I know that's probably obvious....
To me, it stinks of being a simple fix... Just one if those ones that's a sod to find.

No no no.
It's starts. Re read it all.
The car starts but it runs rough, extremely lean and dies if you touch the throttle. The the fuel pump is constantly priming like there is no fuel in the tank.
Sometimes it runs absolutely fine and the fuel pump runs as normalbut most times it's just dies.
Everything else is brand new, relay, ignition switch, coil, ignitor, dizzy cap, plugs are all new. Earth are fine.
It can only be fuel pump related now since that's the only other thing I have changed.
Loose wire or a blockage or a sweatywanking hrc pump.

I had read it mate, but in the last post you said at times it was starting and running perfect, that's what I was referring toRattyMcClelland wrote:No no no.

Got to be worth changing the pump now then...
