The distributer is knocked back towards the bulk head so fully advanced I think but doesn't the mapper sort the timing out even if dizzy is placed different and also it ain't no h22a5 iv mached the pistons with the type r engine from the accord and the head is the same so I reckon there is some trapped bhp that needs unleashing thanks for ur help people

So what ur saying is that this is not a type s motor but a Frankenstein jobby, different pistons ect? Also i can tell you that the dizzy should not be all the way towards the bulkhead, that just seems silly

And no the mapper necessarily wont adjust that. In general that's up to you to sort the dizzy base timing out. If the dizzy is full advance then the ecu would be fighting against that when the ignition timing is mapped surely??

ok so without getting hung up on the engine (which means your output can vary by upto 30-35bhp) if its obd1 then you need to set the timing on the car back to standard then run a baseline.
I think now you need to tell us who your tuner is if he is good then he may get more work if he isn't as au fait with H22's we could maybe put him in touch with other tuners who would be able to point him in the right direction.
We are not here to diss you or your tuner this isn't an American forum or a civic forum we are all practically family on here. ( and i know some of the family members should be chained in the cellar and fed fish heads)

Yeah mate after some playing about with ignition timing and cam timing the car made 229.9hp 170.1ft. But that's been sold to one of my mates and he's transferring into a different shell.NafemanNathan wrote:Think this thread had been long forgotten about anyway bud
Did you you manage to sort your issues in the end?
