Great wheels. They look good on anything! 8-)

Shame about the coolant pipe. Obviously you'd have to bleed it twice, but could you not ask around the breakers on here for one to tide you over until it arrives? I'm sure one would even send it to you for postage ;-)

cheers guys - i think the flat black should work colour wise and these wheels should make the car sit about an inch lower than it does at present also the wheels will sit about half an inch further out ;)

im hoping Honda will chase up delivery of the coolant pipe and get it in next week-fingers crossed - i had thought about putting in a temp fix but decided i dont want to have to do the job twice
luckily ive got massive capacity in the Koyo rad so i should still be able to tootle about town ;)

At least your nuts turned up :D
vanzep wrote:Unfortunately the lude has a split in the small coolant pipe that goes from the thermostat housing to the fit valve and Honda are saying it could be up to two weeks for delivery  so i wont be going anywhere at the mo
Just get some fuel hose from a motor factors. It doesn't require anything special.

Yeah the wheels nuts turned up today at long last (myHermes strikes again  )
they have some small chips on them so im going to give them a couple of coats of satin black as there is nothing worse than scabby wheel nuts imo :)

thanks for the link @Merlin on the hose but its one of these shaped hoses so im best fitting the OEM part in the long run.

for info the fit to thermostat coolant hose is Honda Part number 19507P13010 and cost £6.90ish

It is only 30cm or so from the thermostat to the FITV. While a shaped hose may be marginally neater it isn't a necessity. Even as a stop gap until the OEM hose arrives.

Nice wheels :)

I was shocked at how much cheaper non-low profile tyres are!

yep i might have to do that but i hate working on the cooling system - i never seem to get it right and have to bleed and rebleed

cheers man - yeah the 15" tyres are really cheap - for instance the federal 595RS-R's are £56 each delivered :o
makes choosing more difficult imo ;)

I would fit a stop gap. Saves air from being sucking into the system and you loosing water.
