it could be yeh, im not sure myself so your more likely to be correct :lol: just felt like a ceramic pot, but bracket shaped lol

quick update on the engine build, new cams are on their way... so awaiting their arrival. ive been shoving on a few mounts, vtec solenoid and thermal housing, lightened crank pulley but can't do too much until the cams are in place

that's what I have in the current engine, not this new one :) and they were only put in there as an experiment really.

H22a5 / H22a8 VTEC solenoid? There is no oil pressure sensor. Your car is a JDM yeah? The loom will have the connector for the oil pressure sensor? What ECU are you using?

tis a JDM yes, I thought you'd only need that if it was an ATR loom :? that's why I put on the H22a5 VTEC solenoid. I have spares so ill shove on one with a sensor, thanks Merl! good observation 8-)

The H22a, H22a2 and H22a7 have them while the H22a5, H22a8 and Type-S do not ;) I have no idea why though :lol:
