I think I saw, but was that with the car already up to temperature?

So what happens if you stick your thumb over the FITV hole in the throttle body?

And what happens when you unplug the IACV?

If you unplug the IACV and nothing happens I think you have a vacuum leak somewhere.

its really beginning to look like a very hidden vac/gasket leak or a crack in the inlet mani somewhere I cant see, as the car is running very lean probably due to too much air getting in.

im going to check the inlet mani bolts are tight, then if I have time take of Will's alternator and swap it with mine.

if those two draw a blank then ill give up as the engine is being removed very soon anyway :roll:

*thinking about it, it could be the Bypass Valve Body cracked or one of the gaskets either side of that, its easy to take off so ill try that too :think:
