THATS MY OLD CAR!

I Sold 'ELB' to Marc in a rainy Coventry car park many moons ago. About 4 years back - I had her for less than a year as a weekend car to take for the odd evening blast. A rough diamond but went like stink.

Just had a quick flick through the thread and must say the romantic petrolhead in me is really chuffed she has been through this transformation - although in some ways she is like Trigger's Broom compared to when she was in my ownership.

Bloody good work Nathan.

Can't wait to see your garage done one day.

I've actually been given the go ahead from the joint committee (missus) to get the Garage/garden terrace started. I've got a couple of Engineers contact details from my new work and we'll be drafting them in at the start of the summer to assess what can be done structure wise and with the dig so close to the house. If I can get something finalised, then it's all systems go! 8-)

Sounds good :)

I've just submitted my third submission after the first two were refused. The last refusal pissed me off though as I went with one of the team leading planning controller's ideas for the garage only to be told it's too tall! (Though even I wasn't too happy with it's aesthetics). I've had issues with the rear extension as well (too large apparently), even though there's a near identical (slightly smaller) semi-detached house around the corner from me with an extension the size I want, yet there's took up an entire third of their garden, where as it wouldn't even make a dent on mine, but I'm told it's still too big!!! :x Comparing the two properties, every aspect they could have looked at was in my favour yet it's still a no

Anyway, I've compromised on the rear extension again and I've made my own alterations on the garage this time, and had a verbal un-official thumbs up on the garage, so fingers crossed it's third time lucky :?
