Cheers Lucas :D

The plan eventually is to have Milano red front wings again so don't worry lol... Just at the cost of £10.99 the pair, I couldn't not get those mint Cassis red ones ;-)

I think eventually I'm going to go for a black roof to tie up the top of the boot with the bonnet as well. And I've always got my eye out for a carbon bonnet to 8)

But still... Got to get everything else perfect first, so it may be some time

Wherever it is, I'm sure someone else will whip it up long before I'll be able to afford the thing lol. Do you recall how much it was going for though?... I'm guessing still around £200+

Ahh no worries. I have so many things on my wish list anyway and a carbon boot hasn't even been drafted on to it yet ;-)

Junior Gee wrote:Hi ya,

Thought of this thread and here it is again for another good read lol.

I was talking to a mate of mine about porting and polishing a spare head to put on mine. The best person to talk to about it as he has done this for years making a little extra on the side of his garage business, before it became two businesses. Before you know it we were talking about manifolds, throttle bodies etc. 8-[
He went on to say a naturally aspirated engine is as good as having a turbo. Thought you may have heard this before, but at the same time it is one of those lights at the end of the tunnel when you put so much time and effort (or/as well as money) into porting, polishing and modifying the intake/exhaust system. :D

Hope it is all progressing well for ya ;)

Don't think I'll ever be able to kick out as much power as a properly turbo'd lude, but I definately plan to push naturally aspirated as far as I can over the next lot of years ;-)

Almost got all my ingredients for my next big phase though :D My custom manifold is gonna be a while longer yet, due to my friend needing to aquire all the right machinery for his workshop first, but I'm still able to get him to mod my spare manifold for the mean time :)

Yeah you are right, but it's got to be worth the challenge, perhaps one day? lol

Look forward to the next up-date. ;)
