Thought of this thread and here it is again for another good read lol.

I was talking to a mate of mine about porting and polishing a spare head to put on mine. The best person to talk to about it as he has done this for years making a little extra on the side of his garage business, before it became two businesses. Before you know it we were talking about manifolds, throttle bodies etc. 8-[
He went on to say a naturally aspirated engine is as good as having a turbo. Thought you may have heard this before, but at the same time it is one of those lights at the end of the tunnel when you put so much time and effort (or/as well as money) into porting, polishing and modifying the intake/exhaust system.

Don't think I'll ever be able to kick out as much power as a properly turbo'd lude, but I definately plan to push naturally aspirated as far as I can over the next lot of years

Almost got all my ingredients for my next big phase though My custom manifold is gonna be a while longer yet, due to my friend needing to aquire all the right machinery for his workshop first, but I'm still able to get him to mod my spare manifold for the mean time
