Haha, mate I wish I could finish it this quick! I am eager to get the thing on the scales to find out how much weight its lost, let alone unleashing all 300 horses

No, we met up out the way of that lot. Used to meet by the park and ride over in Marsh Barton. Club probably stopped meeting 3 or 4 years ago.

Mofo's - new update.

The first engine mount has been made! Yeeaa! Was pretty darn happy with how it came out, but not so much when I went to fit it, some serious issues were quite apparent once it was bolted up.. the first one; you can't actually get the engine in the bay with it fitted - pretty serious i'd say. lol

Even though it doesnt fit right now atleast it looks good, and it only weighs in at 1.3kg for this mount!

That is sexual right there. If you do make them after for some cash - they'll fly off the shelf as the build quality looks better than the likes of Hasport. Top work.

Can you not bolt it in place with the engine suspended in position?

Hah, I hope they are strong enough, there are 6x M6 bolts holding it in place!

Its not perfect just yet, the M6 bolts are not flush, the welding could be better and it needs a Jig making as the welded on plate is not parallel to the other side.

I reckon it may go in but it would be damn fiddly! Will give it a go later today, would be far easier to just remove one easily accessible bolt than 3 to get the engine out...

Not sure on drive shafts just yet, once I get the motor where I want it I'll have a measure up and then get some drawings sent off to a few people.

New update, not much has changed this week.

Got the first engine mount in with some modifications to the first engine mount, designed and ordered the laser cutting for the other 2, got my conversion harness tho now found out it needs some modifications, ordered up my exhaust header and have some other goodies
