Re: Newkid's bb1
@wurlycorner it definitely has a blue in it. Not as extreme as the pic shows but it's there. Perhaps @dbo can confirm.

Re: Newkid's bb1
Made a start of getting the koni/tein/poly shocks/springs fitted, rears are on and done, just the fronts still to do.
Also sorted out most of the interior lights, hazard, ashtray, cig lighter all light up as they should.
Still have the sunroof one to do, and going to wire in a OEM rear fog light switch instead of the rocker type that's there just now.
Also going to swap the window switches for the OEM auto light up one and get a facelift dash relay so the dash lights dim down when sidelights are on.
@Nafemannathan beleive you have a snapoff steering boss? Question. How do you wire up a horn to one?

Koni/tein setup
Cars now on the koni/tein/poly setup, sits a little higher which isn't a bad thing were I live with the speed bumps. Currently have them on fully soft till I do some research into whats the best setup.
Decided to give the car a wash so I could take some pictures but some didn't come out that well due to the light with the sun starting to set so I apologise for that.
The car.

Couple showing the flakes in the paint, looks brilliant in daylight or when light hits it in the dark.

And one of my old trusty stereo, think this has been in every lude I've owned

While doing the fronts did notice that there seems to be a lot of oil down the back of the block, think its coming from the oil cooler o-ring so that's now on the list of things to do
Also hopefully worked out to get the horn to operate with the quick release which I've removed for the time being while I worked it all out

I think the first photo in your update looks really good
you will have to give me a hand getting some of my interior lights working - i must have enough spare parts to fix them all
