Just done that and it's the worst possible news - the oil pump is failing and the Lude will soon grind to a halt... It'll cost too much to fix based on the value of the car :(

Yes, I did say that having a Lude is sometimes a labor of love, but there comes a point where a decision has to be made.

I've just spent £1125 on getting it back on the road after the cambelt failure and that's twice now I've rescued it from the scrap yard but enough is enough - it's time to scrap it!

Gutted.

How are your mechanical skills? At that kind of money for it I'd be very tempted to take my time and shove another lump in :(

There are a LOT of oil pump fails going on ATM, what's with that :shock: I'm scared for my new motor now :scaredtoss:
