Did they give you a copy of the declined reciept? That should make it nice and simple to sort.

@Rob_Cool1 what garage was it? Shell? This exact same thing has just happened to us, been charged twice but got a declined receipt. Of course she binned the receipt and has only just realised a week later.

It was a murco garage, it randomly apeared in my account a few days later with no transfers or anything :S I would try calling the bank if it hasn't gone back in yet
