There is no hard and fast rule about it.

It's more like if they've won recently and are nominated again, all other nomination will take priority first. If however we only have 2 other nominations, then they will still be included.

Why not make December's competition Prelude of the year? So using the winners from POTM this year.

No offence to this month's nominees obviously.

id say either do LOTY separately, or if LOTY is done here this month then the nominations so far roll over to January to give them a chance
