Take lots of photos of the camshafts for me please! I want to see any odd marking which tell it apart from the rest of the H22A cams..

Shall do Nitin. Hopefully I'll have a bit of a session with the old carb cleaner tonight ;-)

You got back onto the seller or ebay for a refund or something. I wouldn't let that drop.

I guess if there's no luck pursuing it, you have a spare head to get ported and build for cams, etc. :???:

I messaged the guy through ebay last night as soon as I'd determined it.

The cylinder head for one has "P13" stamped on it, it should be "PDE".

And just to check, I measured the lobes on the cams. All pretty much dead on standard spec :(

I already have a spare head as well  Besides, it may have been cheap for as Type-S head... But it certainly isn't for a standard one! ;-)

sy666 wrote:well surely you have bought an item that is "not as described" therefore have a right to a refund, protected under paypal upto £500 are you not? I wouldn't just bend over and take it no matter what the seller says. Ebay/paypal advertise that they protect you so I'd push them if no luck.

Oh I'm definaitely not going to "bend over" lol. I just thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt first as he may have been mis-sold it. So I sent him a non-rude message informing him that it wasn't actually a Type-S head as he'd described and that I'd like a full refund and for him to arrange for it to be uplifted. I'll give him a couple of days as he has been slow to reply in the past, but always seemed quite legit when he did.
