Yer i tried to get a set of wheels with 205/50 15 as they were the smallest profile I could find on ebay at the time. Unfortunatly the guy had listed them incorrectly and they were 205 60. He let me have all 5 wheels with tires for £50 due to his mix up so I was well happy. 2x 7mm 2x 6mm and 1 x 3mm. cheap cheap cheap at 10£ a corner.
I'm just waiting for a little rain
to compensate for the taller tires.

@ tram: I was lucky and found an original 2.93 from a 328i sport. was a direct swap. I decided as it is my daily i wanted to retain MPG but still be able to lock up. When I blow the clutch I will get a 1.6 gearbox and give that a try. I have been told this is a good alternative as 6th gear is very very long so i could still cruise on the motorway but also get sharper acceleration for oversteer in 2/3rd gears.
@ammo: im on the case. gonna have words with a few tyremen.
@nafe: Vid or notm, it did
I dropped the clutch on the start, then missed 2nd coming into the turn. went for 1st, crunched that, finally got it and went into massive powerslide (which I held onto
) and final crossed the line about 2 seconds after adam.
