What if, bare with me here, you simply had a set of rally lights handy you bolt on come MOT time? Save a lot of hassle no?

:think: That could work actually! Could literally have them mounted infront of the existing ones and disconnect the NS OEM high beam and connect that one to the rally light too! Like it! :D

You'd have to run it by an MOT tester. Rally lights aren't really high beams, more flood lights!! High beams do have a beam pattern as well!!

Although it states they must be matching pairs, it doesn't state that if they are built into the headlight then they must be so, meaning you couldn't use an external high beam lamp and just the dipped beam from the combi headlight unit.
