Raised?

I didn't mean in the literal sense of a ram air, purely just the pick up. Basically the way it looks to me, I don't see the engine having any trouble taking all the air it needs.

If it isnt sitting flush with the bodywork and where its placed, the lead edge of the scoop may cause turbulent airflow. This in turn may reduce the 'RAM AIR' effect matt is trying to create but cant see it creating a vacuum effect due to itslocation on part of the curve of the bumper. If it was flush on the side of the bumper then i may agree. However we dont have a wind tunnel to test.

no, the effect wont be noticable i wouldnt have thought, maybe @ 100 plus.

Some closer pic's to help the discussion

its pop rivet on so wont be flush but its tight at the front.. and rubbed it down a bit to help! but lets see what happens! better to have a feed, than have no feed!!

Tbh i think it has helped, i know the heat shield in the engine will deff help, and with the cold air feed.. it does make it feel quicker on response and sounds different a bit.. but hey that could be all in my head! but as i got still 700mm of tubing left, i am gonna fit another scoop somewhere else

two feeds got to be better than one!!

I'm deff going for the mean look than the perfect clean car..!! my car is way off that.. but i love it for that reason
