New stock or quiet exhaust. Where to buy?

Post by Churley » Tue Jun 03, 2014 9:52 pm

Seen a couple of 5th gen prelude with straight through stainless exhaust (from cat I'm told) it's really just too loud for me. This seems to be a common theme which I don't want to put me of buying so can anyone suggest a quiet aftermarket exhaust? Or perhaps an OEM source? My search (albeit limited by lack of knowledge) has drawn a blank.

Also how much should I expect to pay for fitting of a cat back? Asked at local garages and they were saying wildly different things.

If you go to any exhaust specialist they should be able to build you a custom stainless steel catback exhaust with a tone and volume of your liking (not mute) for around £300ish.

Honda wont be crazy expensive for a new exhaust. A few years ago I got a new catback + finishing tips for just over £300. Still, it would probably cheaper to get a custom made one. They will be able to make one to your liking.
