h22 engine mounts. one for nathan.

Post by honda-hardy » Fri Jul 27, 2012 11:44 pm

i have just come back from collecting some parts for my lude and the chap has these mounts

these will be available to sale price tbc but a bit of accumulative knowledge from people on here to help out nathan if he wants them for his accord.

this is not the for sale thread

http://www.azracemachine.com i think it says on one. made by arizona race and machine co usa

firstly, these are for the 3rd gen lude b20a engine manual transmission.
secondly how similar is the engine bay from the 3rd gen lude to the accord.

so here are the pics.

They do don't they :?

I've pretty much concluded the only parts I could use would be the billet pieces that bolt to the block. I'd have to custom fabricate everything else as it is at the moment as it is anway, so at least that would save me a lot of the grafting.

I've just sent the guy a PM Sam to see if he knows how much he wants for the kit yet.

He's yet to reply to my message Sam, though I think he read it the day I sent it. I take it you've not heard from him?

I will say now that these will be no more use than a lump of metal to doing a H22 conversion in the 3rd gen Accord.

Although it shares many similarities to the 2nd and 3rd gen Preludes, the engine mounts, and even the engines themselves (even though both could have A20 or B20 engines) were different between the Accord and the Prelude.

Your best bet Nathan is to talk to one of the guys on 3geez who has done the H22 swap and see if you can get a photo or specs of their mounts.
