Would that give a bum droppings load of lag?

where you place the turbo doesnt affect lag you can stick your turbo on the backbox and it wouldnt affect lag what affects lag is spooling of the turbo ie size of the exhaust turbine on the turbo. big turbo small engine equals lag which is why proper turbo tuning is a real science.

such an ugly engine.

the whole car looks like Mrs subaru and Mr hyundi bumped uglies and made an ugly baby.

why did they not make this turbo to begin with??? i thought thats the way it was all going?

The idea was to make an N/A one and the tuners have started boosting them. It was so setup of for a turbo in the first place, as LLL said I don't know why they didn't boost it to begin with!

I do like that turbo location tho

@wiggz: if you watched 5th gear the other day you should be aware that button was complaining about a lack of torque. This should not happen if the engine has a turbo init...

Turbos are jobby, that's why! Bit like the next Civic Type-R.

It's all about throttle response & oversteer - sort of a cross between an S2000 and a 'Lude (4G) and it's not very fast, but it's great fun.
