Hey guys,

I am Jay Stevenson's (not sure of his forum name, Isle Of Man, Silver Gen 4? Prelude ... ) little brother, and I've been sent here by him to soak up some brainy knowledge.

I currently have an RX8, its a great car, only got 35k miles on it, a few mods but it is just SO thirsty!! There is a 53' plate Civic Type R for sale locally and I'm temped by it.

Questions are;

Are they as good as they seem mpg wise?
Will I regret not getting a facelift (I will be doing a facelift headlight conversion as I can't live without Projectors!)
is £3.5k for a 80k mile 53' without AC a good price?

Look forward to browsing this forum a bit too!

All the best,
Andy

My brother is 'JayJay'.

Went to view the car and as newkid said, i suspect its been thrashed. the front end is covered in stone chips and the general condition is pretty shoddy. Mechanically I'm not sure what condition it is in, but I'm going to walk from this one.

Alright Andy, welcome in! Remember your brother saying you'd bought the RX-8, I also remember asking him if you knew about the fuel and oil use :lol:
