I'd have thought an A1 pump would fit an A2, an A4, an A5 and even an A.

... Just not an A7 or A8.

Don't take my word for it though, I'm sure some others will know for sure.

EDIT: Actually that's a point!... I might have one for sale if my change in plans mean the new one I have won't fit

We're swapping the engines at the weekend, and I suggested that whilst we're doing a full cambelt service etc, it would be worth changing water pump, and oil pump etc whilst we're in there. So... we'll need anything to be delivered Saturday at the very, very latest! ;)

Yup, this coming weekend! Swapping the engines between his 2 Preludes (both UKDM)!

If your doing that this weekend, you'll also need all the seals (balance, crank, etc.) that sit inside it

Ok, well I'm pretty sure that the oil pump I have at home might be redundant, so an option if you need it. What's going to be the easiest way to tell? It's not like it's going to measure 50 or 55mm is it? I don't think it's got a part number on it.

This is it. Basically it's the main seal that should hopefully determine it right?...
