Post by NafemanNathan » Wed Jul 24, 2013 9:57 am

Change of plans yet again, I'm selling on my 65mm deep Fibre Glass Arch Extensions.

I was sporting them quite high, but for more pictures of them offered up to the car see here...

Masking tape obviously isn't man-enough to hold them down, but they will form around the bodywork nicely. My intention was to rivet them on as well as seal.

£50 plus postage or I can bring them to the National Meet.

Just out of interest, do they fit with screws or do they need moulding to the panel?

They will flex to fit, or you could get creative and cut them to suit the contour. This would be the ideal way. You'd potentially loose the rivet/screw recesses, but if you coutour them right, then bonding them on would be enough anyway as they wouldn't be trying to flex back into shape, if you catch my drift? Then you could simply fill in the remaining rivet recesses.

Change of heart again? You're as bad as me!

I do like the look of these, but havn't got wide enough wheels to justify and def don't want to be running some stupidly thick spacers.

At that price someone will snap them up. GLWTS.

Surely you need them though with those wheels you have? What else do you have up your sleeve for that then. The arch roller flaring I doubt will take up that much? :?

I'm tempted... not sure whether they'd look right on my Legnum though...

If they're not sold by the national meet, could you bring them with you so I can offer them up to my Legnum and see what they look like...? :)

To be honest I don't think I'm going to be far off with the flare arching tool, but I fancy doing something a little different with the front wings anyway, and then the poke on the rears isn't as much as the front, so we'll see ;-)
