Hondata S300 question
Hondata S300 question
So,
Does the chip 'learn' as mods are made beyond the existing tune? Or if it's mapped, for 228bhp in my case, irrespective of what parts you put on it's still deliver 228bhp?

I knew that bit, was just curious. Wouldn't be much point in tuning the motor for changing a type s air feed with resonator & mugen mani to a CDA w/o resonator & tri y header. Was just wondering if it would see any benefit before tuning.Merlin wrote:If you want to get the best from new mods you need to have it retuned.

The idea was to get the tri y on for part 2 of my engine build to get the most out of it. Would be nice if it made a little extra too but no biggie if it doesn't.
Was curious how the ecu would perform without further tuning
