I imagine if you did it yourself you could have it done in less than 2.5hrs?!

My estimated annual mileage is even less than that! :? As another aside, how does this even come into your premium? Surely the more miles you do the more experience you get, but then the less miles you do the less you're out as a risk? Hmm.

It's more to do with the longer you're on the road, the more chance some other muppet is going to hit you ;-)

Yes there is that  Some prick in a HGV pulled out on me on a roundabout this morning and then there was traffic in front so he effectively cut off the road, had to go around again. Not normally an issue but this is a big roundabout that makes a threesome between the A47, A11 and Norwich  lots of traffic lights and traffic! Literally took me 7-8 minutes to get back to where I was.

I tried to insure my Scirocco for 3,000 miles a year, and it was expensive enough that I thought meh I'll stick it down for 6,000 miles so I can use it more if I'm paying through my arse for it. To my surprise having the annual mileage as 6,000 made my premium lower  go over or under 6,000 and my premium went up :? Obviously they want me to drive around aimlessly in it
