I was about 18 or 19 when I saw the first photos of the prototype Aerodeck in a car mag back in the mid eighties. I thought it looked awesome, I'd always loved that shooting brake look of the Scimitar and Lancia HPE. About a year later I saw one parked in the town I grew up in and I was blown away. I've wanted one ever since.
This car came came up local to me (for a change) and was fuel injected and manual (my perfect spec). Financially and time-wise it wasn't a good time to be buying a Deck but I'd have kicked myself if I'd let it pass. Now my Golf and my BMW have to go to make space for my two Hondas.
This here is Twink (short for Twin Cam) my '91 Civic 1.6i-16. Again, it needs some work to make it 100% but it's probably the best car I've ever owned. Practical, economical, bullet-proof reliable, loaded with character and goes like hell ...
