Spacesaver Wheel 60psi?

Post by Pushki » Tue Apr 30, 2013 3:02 pm

I want to ensure my spare wheel is ready for an emergency (pothole disaster).

All the writing on the tyre is in Japanese except 4.2KG/CM².
The internet says this is 60psi. Does this sound correct?

I don't want it exploding in my face. :o

I can double check on my UKDM space saver when I get home for piece of mind.

Yeah I noticed that on my Aerodeck's spare recently. I think it's to anticipate the several years you don't actually need it and it looses 20psi

Hey @Pushki, I'm surprised your spare wheel isn't still up to pressure with the original air put in from the factory!

I've just got back from the garage. My spare was at 5psi. :o
It's the first time I've paid it any attention since getting the car. Sorted now!! :D
