Agreed, as said, it's the fact that Prelude's are so unknown that shoots us in the foot when selling... Although it's a bonus in so many other ways.
But when you do your car search and you see a sports car you know nothing about constantly selling for pitiful amounts, you're naturally going to assume it's because they're crap. But this simply isn't the case for the Prelude. If you saw what looks like a decent styked car constantly selling for £3000+ you're more likely to be a little intrigued into what it's actually capable of.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Me, too.bb1boy wrote:Haha I don't see the problem, I quite like the fact that I can go out and buy a decent (ish) VTEC Prelude for a grand while all the kids are spending fortunes on Civics so they can be the same as their mates.
Two years ago, when our V6 Galant went to the great garage in the sky, we had £3500 to spend on a replacement. Time for something different, I thought. The only Hondas I've had were bikes, I thought. What's available for that price?
Rubbing our collective hands with glee, we bought a half-decent 5G a5 Prelude. And a very good ATR ...
... and had change.
