Aero bonnet catch? Any good? Easy to fit?

Are these any good? Want to replace my bonnet catch as my actual bonnet (carbon fibre) isn't quite straight :/ and bonnet catches seem to be the way forward

They are very good. Not "easy" to fit, but just take your time and have the right tools and frame of mind. They won't really help straighten a bonnet though Matt.

I've just started to fit some. Check my profile thread. They're not that hard to fit as long as you have the right tools (dremel) I'm hoping that it may straighten my bonnet a bit too

Cheers chaps :D

It's only cause of the way it sits on the car, not to mention that my current bonnet catch is playing up (due to on old stick bonnet release cable so I thought I'd try delete the problem by fitting a set of bonnet catches.

I have a die grinder, I suppose with the right attachments that should do the job?

That should do the trick yes - if you need some attachments Maplin are doing a special for a 400 odd piece set for £9.99 down from £19.99. Picked one up the other day - bargain! 8)

Also look in Mart's thread about the backing plates you can get to fix them, makes it stronger and easier to fit.
