Help yourself to anything on the a2 (sensors or bits) if you want to check. Dont blow the dizzy though I need it later, I know what you are like with dizzy's ;)

Be careful not to over tighten the temp sender back into the block. It's hollow with a spring inside, so it will shear quite easily if it's over-tightened (I know ) (More a case with older ones that have seen a few year/miles).

Can you not put a meter across the temp sensor and see what resistance you are getting?

well thats an odd one - fired up fine - stable idle and power is back albeit not as smooth as before - will take it for a good run tomorrow and see if it is totally cleared. :)
