Yeah they are still attached to the dizzy if you are desperate to try them.

Help yourself to anything on the a2 (sensors or bits) if you want to check. Dont blow the dizzy though I need it later, I know what you are like with dizzy's

Be careful not to over tighten the temp sender back into the block. It's hollow with a spring inside, so it will shear quite easily if it's over-tightened (I know

) (More a case with older ones that have seen a few year/miles).

Can you not put a meter across the temp sensor and see what resistance you are getting?

well thats an odd one - fired up fine - stable idle and power is back albeit not as smooth as before - will take it for a good run tomorrow and see if it is totally cleared.
