The purpose of the thread is to document a one stop shop for all sizes & dimensions of small items that need replacing or upgrading, such as nuts, bolts, pipes, and so on.
Here is the start (ones I could remember off the top of my head), let it blossom!
NUTS & BOLTS GENERALLY
Sizes are M# (bolt diameter) x #.# (thread pitch size) x ##mm long (threaded rod length) Qty # (number of them on our Preludes)
4TH GEN
- BOLT - Headlight retaining bolts in the slam panel = M6 x 1.0 x 16mm long Qty 4 (2 per headlight)
- BOLT - Radiator stay mount bolts fixed to slam panel = M6 x 1.0 x 16mm long Qty 4 (2 per stay mount)
- BOLT - Wing mounting bolts top - exposed in the engine bay = M6 x 1.0 x 16mm long Qty 6 (3 per wing)
- NUT - Front shock/damper top mount / coilover nuts (visible in the engine bay on strut tower = M10 x 1.25mm Qty 6 (3 each front shock) - torque 39Nm (28lbft)
- NUT - Rear shock/damper top mount / coilover nuts (visible in the boot on strut tower) = M10 x 1.25mm Qty 4 (2 each rear shock) - torque 39Nm (28lbft)
- NUT - Front upper arm / wishbone nuts (visible in the engine bay on strut tower) = Self locking M12 x 1.25mm Qty 4 (2 each wishbone) - torque 65Nm (47lbft)
- NUT - Rear upper arm / wishbone nuts (visible in the boot on strut tower) = Self locking M12 x 1.25mm Qty 4 (2 each wishbone) - torque 65Nm (47lbft)
- BOLT / NUT – EGR studs / nuts (for removal of EGR and studs and adding bolts = M8 x 1.25 x 16mm long max depth into intake manifold Qty 2
- Oil drain plug = M14 x 1.5 x ##mm
- Gearbox drain plug = M14 x 1.5 x ##mm

FUEL SYSTEM
- Fuel supply and return hard line size = 5/16” O.D. (approx. 8mm)
- Fuel supply pipe into fuel filter: flare nut = 14 x 1.5mm flare nut - 17mm length but end 7mm into filter first not threaded.
- Fuel supply out of fuel filter to fuel rail - banjo bolt = 12 x 1.25mm - *Need to check this one and the length*
- Fuel return hose size – rubber pipe from FPR to hardline on firewall = 8mm I.D. & 14mm O.D. (2mm wall thickness)
AFTERMARKET
AEM Fuel Rail
- Large ports for supply and return lines -6 AN or 9/16” x 18
- Hole for fuel pressure regulator = 1/8 npt
- Spare port next to furl pressure regulator = 1/8 npt - for adding a fuel pressure gauge
- 1/2" bore inside the rail
AEM Hi-Flo Fuel Filter - Honda fitment
- Bottom port (supply line from tank) = M14 x 1.5mm
- Top port (to fuel rail) = M12 x 1.25mm
BRAKE SYSTEM
- Standard size brake pipes - copper/nickel/stainless steel/etc - 3/16th or 6.4mm
- Brake Master Cylinder flare nut...
- Front brake caliper carrier bolts to hub fixing = M12 x 1.25 x ##mm *Need to check length - size from manual* - torque 110Nm (80lbft)
- Front brake caliper to carrier slide bolt/guide pins = M10 x 1.00 x ##mm *Need to check length - size from manual* - torque 50Nm (36lbft)
- Rear brake caliper carrier bolts to hub fixing = M10 x 1.25 x ##mm *Need to check length - size from manual* - torque 39Nm (28lbft)
- Rear brake caliper to carrier slide bolt/guide pins = M8 x #.## x ##mm *Need to check length - size from manual* - torque 23Nm (17lbft)
POWER STEERING SYSTEM
Steering Rack hardline and flare nut sizes:
- Lines 1 & 2 = 4/16” O.D. (3/16") - flare nut = M12 x 1.0mm
- Lines 3 = 5/16” O.D. (4/16") - flare nut = M14 x 1.5mm
- Lines 1 & 2 = 6/16” O.D. (5/16") - flare nut = M16 x 1.5mm
COOLING SYSTEM
- Radiator main top and bottom hose jubilee clips = Approx 42mm Qty 4

SUSPENSION
- Rear lca to subframe bolt for 2ws 4th gen BB4 (Honda Part no.90167-SF1-003) =
M14 x #.## x 77mm (approx 35mm thread) Hex flange head bolt steel/zinc&yellow Grade 10 (Cost approx. £10/each from Honda)
