You want to talk to GAZ shocks then.
I've got BC Coilovers saved in my favourites for when I'm ready, but I think GAZ will be cheaper...

Still waaaaay more than I want to spend.
I guess no-one does "budget" coilovers? Like you can get for most newer cars?

@NafemanNathan, I notice that between the two BC links you provided, the only difference (that I can see) is 50mm or 53mm diameter damper body's.
Can you pardon my ignorance and please explain to me what the fundamental, noticeable differences between the two would be?
Is it just that the 53's will be a bit stiffer?
Thanks.

For all those benefits & only £20 extra, it seems like a no brainer. Why offer the 50mm at all? Are there complications with fitting the larger damper body? Or is there a particular advantage to the slightly smaller damper body?RattyMcClelland wrote:Bigger dampening body will offer more control, better heat ability and soft ride at the same setting.
Would it just be the stiffer ride for track use, for example?

Re: Fefelarue's 3rd gen Honda Prelude
I've been really busy lately but managed to get a few more bits done to the car.
First up was to relocate the battery to the boot. Bought myself some hench 0 gauge cable and got the seats out.

Took off the induction kit and laid the cable in the right place:

Through the car and into the boot:

Also took out the spare wheel for now for more subwoofer space:

Then that allowed me to get a new piece of hose to relocate the air filter like so:

The battery's just tied in the boot at the moment, but I'm going to get on with a boot build once I get my subwoofer(s)
The after a few instances of overheating on the hot days when stuck in traffic, I figured I could do with a new radiator. I took the old one out and it's, well, drokked.

Then I ordered a nice shiny new one from Coolex in Nottingham who I highly recommend:

While I had the radiator off, I thought I may as well do something to the hoses, and since I couldn't find any silicone ones, I decided to braid them.
Before:

After:

New radiator in:

Current state of engine bay:

Still very messy..
Thanks for looking!
Felix
