Getting bonnet and mirrors wrapped today in carbon!

Just wondering if any one else has had there car wrapped? More specifically has anyone had bonnet, roof and spoiler done? Thoughts people? To much or will look good?? Dont want the car to look boy racery!

Id save for some real carbon goodies cause noone likes weight bar those feeder guys who make there girlfriends get super fat

@crigal.bb6 if it's just to cover dodgy paint because a respray is too expensive then go for it. It's up to you whether it looks good or not mate.
Quick question though, that Prelude in your signature, it doesn't look right to me, is it a photoshop??

Thanks for input guys. Cant afford carbon parts for the next few mounths so its a good compromise.
Bb1boy it is to cover up dodge paint. Was going to prep and spray it gloss black with my friends equipment. One of my good friend is a sign fitter and also wraps cars i.e did all the cars at the gumball rally just been, so i asked him to do it seems easyer lol.
As for the 4gen in my photo. Do you mean the white one? If so it isnt mine i just think its a beautyfull example until mine is nice enough to post as a signature.

Yeah that one, I really like it too, but something about it (rear lights, size of wheel arch bulges, the exaggerated step in the door, the curve of the rear bumper) I just think it's been photoshopped, not in a bad way, but still photoshopped.. anyone else?

As for wrapping, go for it. check out the carbon wrap first, some doesn't look that great. Have you thought of maybe just a flat colour for your wrapping?

Yeah it's definitely been tweeked. A lot of subtley adjusted OEM shapes going on there. It's a rendered 3D model that ended up red. I think I might have posted a few pics in the Cool Honda pics thread.

My friend has assured me that i am getting the dogs bollocks in carbon fiber vinyl wrap lol. He uses this stuff on super cars with warranty given. If its good enough for lambos i think i will do haha. Only issue is it is dry look 3d carbon. Not gloss like most of the real stuff! Wonder could i gloss it???

It was never a real car. I can't find the pics in the Cool Honda Picture thread, but I might have them on my computer at home.

i have the 3m Di-noc carbon on my bonnet and it is flat/dry look

you can not clear laquer this

it stops the light from giving the 3d effect, and will make it look all black

there is a company in usa that do a mineral laquer that is supposed to work, but the best result i found is "Auto Gleam Bumper Care" green gunky gloop

but you wipe on and polish off and the 3d gloss shine apears (but it attracts dust like a bitch)

give it a try really works
