My clutch didnt give any indication there was anything wrong before it went. I got a little more life (20K miles) out of the OEM clutch :P But its a lottery how long the original clutch will last. The only previous owner of this car just pootled around his home town.

For me its all clutches and gearboxes at the moment. The 4G is about to get it's stage 5 Competition Clutch.

TBH I cant take the credit, the real hard work was done by 3rd Gen Steve who hulks bits off the car, the power in the man's hands is unreal and can get bits of the car off in a quarter of the time it takes me. I plan, get the parts, and do what I can. Don't get me wrong, I give it a go and can get it off with the correct tools, but when time is short Steve is the man.

"You should have brought an impact gun instead of a beer mate"

"Nah, I don't need a impact gun. I've got a 3rd Gen Steve."

After I snapped my old civic's clutch plate
at Donington a few yrs back, I decided to
learn to heel & toe.

It's a free way of making them last longer
