Im thinking more power but not wanting to open up the engine yet .
I have a p28 ecu with hondata s300 and a skunk 2 intake manifold which I was thinking about fitting and having tuned. But I think I would also need a throttle body but not sure what I would need and what ones are any good .
what times were you running and how much power and torque were you producing.
I like the idea of NO2 but id prefer to have the power all the time as I use the car on track aswell as drag.
Thinking of getting a pair of wheels for the front with some r888s or yokos for drag aswell.

I've run a 13.69 @ 101 at pod with oem engine breathing mods, uprated diff and shorter ratio gearbox.
Car was running just over 230 bhp.

Other car ive run a 13.5 @ 108mph but was making 277bhp and 188lbft torque.
That one was too much power to put down, even with cut slicks.
With drag slicks at that terminal she should have run between 12.6-12.8.

Its all in the 60ft times. General rule is every 0.1 60ft saved wil give you a 0.2-0.3 improvement on ET.

Says the man whos had the odd run down a strip.

I remember the 13.69 when I just happened to be down the other end of the strip at Pod and snapped you whizzing past. Good times. That lude was freakishly quick. I think Mark has a secret mod he's not telling us about - maybe floor plan cut out and extra flintstone style legs are helping him along!

I messed up both my second and third run. Second I gave to many revs at the start then the third it jumped out of gear . Still had alot of fun a well pleased with my time.
Did you not run in the end ?

Been thinking about removing my interior fan and heater system. .
Its used mainly for track days and shows but I sometimes use it once a week just so its gets a run . Anybody whos done this got any input . Im not bothered about not having heating but do the windows mist up at all or anything like that.
Cheers Jon
