UPDATE:
Picked the car up form Performance Autoworks last night, after Rich had taken care of a few issues, given it an MOT but more importantly......
..installed a full set of
ENERGY SUSPENSION POLY BUSHES
The 70 mile drive home was like
Once again the attention to detail from these guys shows and I promise I'm not exaggerating AT ALL when I say that the Prelude drives like a new car. Everything is tight and responsive, the feel and feedback is much improved, the cornering is flat and the grip is even better.
For the record I think a lot of scraremongering takes place regarding this mod, as I dont find the ride too harsh at all, in fact a less-expected side effect was that despite everything I've said above, the car is actually MORE comfortable - the suspension is able to do its job properly I guess, and I'm on Koni Yellows and Tanabe GF210's, the Konis are on pretty much the stiffest setting.
The ride reminds me of a friends S2k a little actually - stiff but very well damped so not uncomfortable.
Also, before anyone says yeah but you've changed worn old rubber for shiny new poly, not so I'm afraid. Rich gave my car a serious going over only a couple of years ago and replaced a bunch of bushes then for OEM (I was poorer at the time

), so the car was already driving lovely when I dropped it off on Tuesday, this is just...better
So to sum up, if you're umming and ahhing about doing this like I did, don't - save up and get it done, you will not regret it. Yes, it's a fairly expensive job, but if you love the car that much (and I assume you do because you're here and not on
http://www.saxowanga.com), it's very much worth it.
Oh and get PAW to do it (Used notes please Rich

)
