Classic car insurance for my Prelude
Classic car insurance for my Prelude
Can anyone recommend a good company to do this for my 1990 Prelude 3G 4WS? How much are other 3G owners paying?

I know it's not a 3G but I just managed to insure my 1994 BB4 on a classic car policy for £333 fully comp - all mods declared. You apparently don't need to use (nor do you earn) NCBs on a classic policy either so it has also freed them up for me to use on my other car - and it's the cheapest I've ever paid!
I went through Performance Direct, underwritten by a company called Highway. I'm well happy.
Prestige couldn't touch that - they wanted £600 from me!

Last year I had my '89 Aerodeck insured through Lancaster under a Classic car policy and they also allowed my 4th gen Prelude to be insured under a classic policy as well. You don't accumilate NCB and you have an agreed limited mileage (Of your choice), but they still worked out a lot cheaper than any other competitor for me at the time.
I now have my 3rd gen Prelude insured on a regular policy with 1st Central and it came in about £250ish. I'm 32 with I think 8 or 9 years NCB. (The Aerodeck was insured with them for £238, but then I switch it over to the 3rd gen lude for an extra £30 which including the admin fees.) I did it through one of the comparision sites. They were the cheapest on two of three sites and second on the third.
