Hi all got my cf bonnet needs a clean and polish though. I am having trouble getting it straight. I think the lock is pushing the bonnet to the side I am going to drill the holes in the lock slightly bigger so I can move it and try get it straight

Would it be wise to remove the lock and try it without first, before you drill any holes larger?

It sits ok when it's 'on the latch' but when you shut it you can see it moves the bonnet to the side.
