its gonna need one doing soon i had it inspected when i bought it and it was okay i don't baby the car but i don't hammer it either

Ok cool. Thanks @mercutio. How long have you been running it for? Any particular issues of note?

Does it run smoothly? Pull strong in Vtec? Any odd noises?

And does it make that funny farty noise when you put your foot down at low revs, that some H22's make? Does anyone know what that is & how to cure it?

I've heard an odd noise on some ludes at low revs when you put you're foot down. Sounds kind of a muffled clackety sort of thing.

I reckon it might just be the valve clearances or something like that tbh. Or time for a service. :roll:

that sounds to me like a bad case of "pinking" timing out, or main bearings.

Yeah, I think it could be pinking or timing related. I know a man who's car sounds like that..
