Re: Project REX
Hi everyone I got rid of my 95 civic coupe as the body was shot, was really bad, so I decided to get rid and get a new car...
My Honda crx 16i16, the car was stored in a unit for 3 yrs! Guy sold it as he has 4 more cars so he sold the crx and another. it's not running as it needs radiator, starter motor which all the parts to finish it off was in the car just not fitted, the interior was a mess, plastics in footwell and even some -35mm lowering springs.
The car is silver but will gradually change it to black,
Body is pretty solid but the drivers sill which will need a new sill and the rear arches need sorting as previous owner put some foam crap on and then
Tried scraping it off so looks a mess which will get sorted out but for a 24yr old car it's awesome n better condition my coupe was.
The cost of the car a measly £300 which I think I got a lot for my money.
Pic of the crx in the unit the guy sent me:

When car was delivered by my friend we put it on my temp drive lol and took some pics:

Cleaned her up:

Yesterday I put on my new rear bumper which has the square recess for a square plate,
I took off the rear wiper which looked better and sorted out the interior and cleaned it, here are the pics:

Will get a pic of the front (dash & front seats)
I am keeping my advan sa3rs and I will be either spraying them black or white:

Sprayed one alloy black to see how it would look

Can't decide yet, be black on black or white on black...
Getting a bk box in a few days time and a black front bumper.which is an earlier spec bumper (has no fog light recess).
Be saving up for a sunroof bung to keep weight down but I will be keeping interior as it doesnt weigh much to start with.
Future plans: car to be polybushed and have b or h series engine conversion
That's it for now thanks

I love these cars... I miss my old ED9 one. Was a hoot to drive - so lightweight - with 130bhp 16V grunt.
