New NRG Short Hub, Tegiwa Bonnet Spacer & Suspension Compone

Post by NafemanNathan » Thu Mar 15, 2012 12:35 am

Yet more goodies...

NRG Short Hub...

I noticed the other day that due to the channel between the bonnet and the front wings being so narrow and my bonnet dampers making contact, although they don't jam or anything, the dampers have corroded due to moisture collecting where they are in contact. So I bought some 25mm Tegiwa Bonnet Spacers to hopefully lift the bonnet high enough at the hinge end, that the dampers don't come into contact with any of the body panels...

Then the other day I spotted a seller on ebay selling numerous OE quality 4th gen suspension components at great prices. I know eventually, when I come to refurbish and powdercoat all the control arms and uprights etc and fit my Energy Suspension bushes that I'll also what to replace a few other related bits and bobs, so I contacted the guy with a list of parts and got an even better price... For this lot...

Front Drop Links...

Rear Drop Links...

Front and Rear Upper Ball Joints...

Front and Rear Lower Ball Joints...

And Offside and Nearside Tie Rod Ends...

Everything looks to be great quality :D

Then thanks to Pushki, I also acquired myself a new decal for when she's finally up and running...

Maybe one day soon I'll actually find time to fit some of this stuff

Oh I have plenty of motivation... It's just difficult to find time when you have one of these to play with as well...

Cheers bud. And yep, I saved him in my favourites for just such a request...

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/langdon4x4/pre ... 34.c0.m322

If you want a number of bits it might be worth emailing him for a better price. He also gave me the option to do a bank transfer which he gave me yet an even better price for ;-) Oh and drop in that I sent you as well... I said I'd try and find him some more punters ;-)
