What do you collect?

I collect pretty much everything... I'm a borderline hoarder - with OCD.

My wife made me throw away my collection of tags from all the clothes I've bought since I was about 16. To be fair I don't even know why I did that or how it even started but I have loads of such shyte up in the loft.

I just get hooked on stuff easily... I recently started collecting Quinny Buzz pushchairs and parts because I was on a mission to get/build the perfect one for my baby (who is due any time now) - I've now managed to build a brand new travel system and sold the rest of my collection on eBay for profit (took my wife to highlight the fact that I was building up quite the collection of parts for me to act though)

What the hell you guys. This is a good thread idea slightly overlaps the hobbies thread but whatever.



As said in the other thread I collect image sets. Not necessarily physical because it's near impossible so digital is the way so yeah... even stuff I'm not majorly interested in I have. e.g. the military aircraft pics in the other thread, got about 200 of them 76 pictures of sloths, 100 or so very hi-res pics of various artworks, I could go on but frankly it's boring and some may not count it as a collection but whatever

Currently building a collection of slides with samples from my own body.

Got lots of cameras, 35mm, 120, tlr, slr, pinhole, rangfinder, standard 8, super 8, projectors, etc.

Old books, mostly medical. One of my favourites is a Medical Annual from 1916. Has some truly shocking content adverts for special 'broths for invalids' made me chuckle though.

Did try to start a collection of complete skeletons after I very excitedly found a intact and complete seahorse skeleton. Didn't get very far with that though too messy.

Do you have two calculators on that desk too Dino? I also have two calculators.

The left one is a Samsung desk phone, the right one is a computer keyboard.

Also, I collect Commodore computers - mainly Amiga's.

I used to do the same! Don't know why either I've actually still got some of them! I just took a picture, but Photobucket's undergoing maintenance at the moment

I used to collect cuddley and plastic toys from cartoons as well (ie. Disney and Looney Tunes). Still got them all in the loft. Max can have them when he's responsible enough

And I've also got 22 Wedgewood Looney Toon figurines. I used to have some of them on display about 10 years ago, but they're more of an investment really. Some of them retailed at £300
