Just a thought that when it's a members birthday it might be better if the notification was at the top of a forum :idea:

Lots are missed on other forums too because no one looks at the bottom of the page :roll:

Unread posts doesn't show the birthdays at the bottom, only the main forum page does.

Sorry @toadster, the only reason I saw it was Ste's today was it popped up on Facebook.

Maybe we could make the birthdays section a bit more noticable? @indigolemon

I'll have a look, traditionally it's only on the main page to save thumping the database per page load - not as big a consideration these days.
