Damn! Some good parts there! What sort of numbers are you looking at with your built motor & supercharger?

Merlin: Cheers bud. Yeah that back box was a nice little find from a Skyline breakers, a steal at £76 delivered! :o

Mugdey: I won't be installing any built engine on this build yet. My goals were to break 300bhp at the fly, and 220-30 torque, but who knows. Plus my chargecooler idea is ramping up, might be a reality soon. So hard to know how the build will receive that, cooler air (hopefully) but restrictions in the intake. I guess I always have the larger Accord crank pulley for around 12psi one day!

The 11.5:1 pistons are a might do in the future. I need a sleeved block though, that's my only drawback at the moment. It's an expense I can't justify until this thing is built and on the road running. Spent enough already as you can imagine!

£75 is a steal.

What stage are you with the build? What are you about to do and what still needs done?

nucleustylzlude wrote: Next up was a better clutch, an ACT Street clutch courtesy of Dino from the 270hp red lude (previously Taffyludes). Its not done lot of miles, plenty of meat left on it. Specs say it should cope with the power I’m expected to put down. I still have the Stage 4 XTD clutch, but plan to sell it:

hmm should cope with the power..... maybe I should get an uprated clutch then for my build :?
nucleustylzlude wrote: Carbon! Bought some more carbon bits. Firstly a carbon fibre sunroof replacement panel (thanks Pete). Scared to take it out of its packaging until I fit it, so crappy pic:

And finally, been after one for a while, but a Seibon carbon boot. This used to be on Grafter’s lude (LB). Some guy bought it, refurbed it back to new and sold it to little ole me! :D
On Grafter’s lude:

Really?
Managed to persuade the guy to post if I arranged the courier. Really nice guy who went all out to package it so it wouldn't get damaged. Had the old scabby momo wheel off him too for a spare and for the horn button.

Another one bites the dust!

Tell me about it! I was looking at universal boxes and twice that!

As for the stage of the build... :?
Ask me something else.

Basically I havn't worked on it much (if at all in 2013, apart from removing parts). I've been doing things to parts off the car, which I'll post up in a day or two.

I'll update the first post with the list of parts, the colour coding shows the extent of what needs to be fitted still. Like Nath's build it's scary to look down the list!

Drax: Carbon (drool) indeed! With the already painted black roof, it flows over the car nicely now. 8)

I remember now (Just checked my old messages with him... Dan). Yeah very nice guy. It was a case that I wanted to go and collect it (Or get 4thgenphil to and then I'd collect it from Phil), but I was only going to go for it if I could get hold of his mate's mate's Seibon bonnet at the same time (to justify the journey more). He was waiting and waiting for a reply from the guy to confirm I a price for the bonnet and it just never came, and so the auction for the boot finished and I decided not to bid ;-)

... So you're alright ;-)

Ah I see. Yep, Dan it was! I did get a random text during our conversations saying he was waiting for his mate (Mark?) on the bonnet. After I questioned it, he said he'd sent it to the wrong guy - that was you then I guess!

So just to be sure, we cool right? :? :bat: :sega:
