BHP per tonne figures.

Post by nitin_s1 » Fri Mar 23, 2012 3:37 pm

I know there are some serious weight saving threads going on here  So was wondering what's everyone's BHP per tonne.

BHP per tonne = [Power (bhp) / Weight (KG) including driver] * 1000

217 / (1310 + 56) = 0.15886 x 1000 = 158.9 bhp per tonne.

Some anal people will bang on about the fuel weight etc etc but this is just a general figure and just to pass my time in the garden chilling.

What's everyone else..

Nitin (Type-S) - 158.9

Add your name to the list.. Keep it in order with the highest at the top.

165.1bhp The Project (before she was parked up... Now aiming for 240-250 bhp)
147.9bhp The Daily (standard apart from the exhaust, though need to RR her as she feels faster than the Project did)
94.4bhp The Aerodeck

Last season
H22a8 275bhp / 1100kg (inc driver and fuel - meeting regulation Class A minimum weight) = a nice round 250 bhp per tonne

This season after some class and regulation changes allowing a winter diet (still more to go to meet new 1000kg min weight)

H22a8 275bhp / 1020kg (inc driver and fuel) = 269.60 bhp per tonne 8-)
