Which one do you prefer?

I have a huge JDM number plate on my Type-S at the moment. One of the bolt is also rusted so sometimes when I go in to a paid car park it reads the number plate different (8 instead of 6  ) see picture below!

I had bought a Tegiwa number plate tilter to put on my brand new smaller size JDM plates but I don't want the tilter thing no more..

So I have got two choices now. Mugen plate bolts or just standard double sided (or Velcro tape).

Option 1: Mugen bolts :

I think I saw some in LLL's Type-S and they look proper ejaculation worthy  That's a plus point for them.. Plus JDM points..

Option 2: Double sided tape (or Velcro): (I have removed the bolts/screws using PS to see what it will look like)

Plus point for them is that it's flush, no bolts showing and I can remove for meets etc..

I dunno if its the lack of characters or what but that plate is so ugly nitin. I vote bolts though for security. Get some decent ones and the white cap things. Velcro I can see someone nicking it.

I vote for the Mugen bolts.

Those have "boss" attitude written all over them. The clean look just seems to state "oh well, nothing here to see".

Where did you get the Mugen bolts from? I saw some similar on National the other day, but I think they were slightly different.
Is National the best bet?

There are lots of Mugen bolts on eBay but not sure if they are authentic.. That's why I was scared of buying them and they rust away..

Option 3 = Plastic (non rusting number plate bolts).

As long as the Mugen's nut on the back I vote Mugen for security over tape/velcro.

However I always go for the correct coloured plastic ones as they're as good as invisible at a distance ;-)

Keep what you've got. There might be a benefit to confusing number-plate recognition cameras ....
