I have agreed value. At the moment it's for 3 grand. I have already phoned Chris knot prior to spending the money on my engine rebuild and once it's completely done I will have an agreed value of 4.5k, I also asked is the call would also be recorded, she said all calls are recorded. So I asked about the agreed value payout should the worst happen. She said they will pay that value minus my excess. She also said that the photos are good enough for evidence of condition without the need for an owners club inspector etc as it has a value of less than 10k. I'm with Chris knot as the broker and insured through highway.

I had an agree value on my silver 4th gen, which was my daily, but I only do about 5000 miles a year, so I was actually able to have it on a "Classic" policy. The only downside was that you don't accumilate NCB, but they were considerably cheaper than the next normal policy anyway that it was worth it. (Plus I've already got over 11 years NCB. I just intended to get a standard policy every 2 or 3 (?) years to keep my NCB alive). The agreed value was only £15 on top and they agreed £2500 I think it was for a standard other than exhaust and wheels lude.
Just gives you a few more options
