How much to sleeve an H22?

Post by NafemanNathan » Wed Aug 13, 2014 12:24 pm

Anyone got a good idea/experience of how much I should be paying an engine builder to sleeve an h22?

It'd be to standard bore (more than likely), but I'm considering custom pistons and it'll give me a lot more options if I can go forged.

@ddoubledanny, you didn't get your quote itemised by chance did you? ;-)

It would be around 1k including custom sleeves. I'm exploring this route with darton mid wetters.

My bro in laws garage rebuilt a focus st and the engine block got machined, bored and resleeved at graham Goode for just over 1k.
