H22 + D15
I don't think I've ever seen a D15 gearbox so this might seem like a silly question:
How easily (if at all) can the engine from a D15 engine be mated to an H22 engine?

I tried that: got lots of stuff about curling tongs and similar poo.EG_H22 wrote:H2d google it
I did find some bits eventually, but nothing that tells me if they actually bolt together.
What I'm exploring is putting an H22 into an EG that's currently got a D15. (All those initials and numbers - does it make me sound like I know what I'm talking about?)
I believe the H22 is taller and has different lengths of drive shafts. If a D15 box fits, things like shaft angles etc become much easier.

Dude if you like. Ill take you out in my h2b.
Stuff the h22 lol.
This is what a full h swap cost me:
H22a engine gearbox £450
Mounts £360 at the time
Shafts custom ones from hond-r was £470
(Mix matching the shafts around still caused binding and knocking)
P28 chipped on chrome £180
Cons though: gearbox mount bracket needs drilling off for new bracket to go on.
Need to cut the gear linkage hole and make bigger to fit the h gear linkage up and weld in place got to make sure that you get it right)
£1460.
Then after i bought this i then sold it forthe h2b setup.
Qsd kit cost me £420 all in (endless horizon motorsports are charging £700 all in)
B series shafts came with my eg as it was the eg6.
Stock mounts for now but will be using upgraded ones at a later date Need an ITR 3 piece engine side mount though £20.
B series loom paid £30 for it and had to extending the alternator wire, as on the b series the wire is short and sits at the back of block compared to the h wire sits at the front. Oil pressure sensor needs extending same with the fan temp sensor.
Fuel hose where it goes onto the fuel rail needs to be longer by 2 inches i think it was.
Alt relocator bracket £65
Chassis leg needs knock in a touch for pulley clearance and i used the euro r pulley £65 i think cant remember.
B series gearbox £170 depending what spec you get.
P28 chipped £160
£930
Job done
