Carbon switch panel

Post by Dino » Sun Apr 08, 2012 1:51 pm

Ive just gone and bought a double din carbon blanking panel from Alex.
Have to say its a good finish.
Cheers buddy.
I had to file it down to size using a cardboard template but fit is great.
Used velcro strips to hold in place and so it is eadily removablele.
Only fitted my alarm key fob so far but waiting for my switches to arrive to mount hazard and both fog switches.
Here is a quick pic as it is.

Well, Ive started the Polybushing of the car.

The whole of the front suspension is now done and took me about a day and a half.

Bit of a bugger to do and a bit laborious.

I have a a spare rear subframe with arms that is off the car, so will do that and drop the new sub-frame on.

So hopefully that will be done over the next week or so.

No pics to put up as they are just bushes and Merlin/Ammo have put up some really good infor for doing this job.

Big thanks to Ammo & Merlin 8-)

Nope, not poly'd yet, but in the process of doing Phil.

As ive now got the ATR brake setup, I can only run 16's.

Whenever i do track days, that means I have to travel back on the same tyres which can be an issue if they go past the legal mark.

So, ill keep my A048's that are on my 98spec rims as a daily tyre.

Having a scout round the net I managed to pic these bad boys up.

They are 16" Accord rims.

Ive got some spare Yoko A048's to go on them and I managed to pick up a pair of these bad boys.

Dunlop D01J's

So thats me kitted out with two sets of wheels with track tyres.

Happy Days :D

My old green car was polybushed and she handled like a dream.

Red one is already pretty good as she is, but there is room for lots more improvement.

Ive got some custom suspension work to be done first once poly bushed and then i'll get a new geometry set-up sorted.

Should be a whole new car. 8-)
